Experts to discuss how Indigenous and Mennonite peoples might live better together

What might it mean for Indigenous and Mennonite peoples in Manitoba to share the land? That's one of the key questions behind an upcoming panel discussion at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU).
The public is invited to attend the event, titled, "Whose Neighbour Am I? Treaty One and Mennonite Privilegium." The discussion will take place on Wednesday, October 10 at 7:00 PM in Marpeck Commons (2299 Grant Ave.). Admission is free, and all are welcome.

Preliminary fall enrolment at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) reflects an overall 3% increase in CMU degree programs, bringing anticipated Full-Time Equivalent for 2018/19 to 675. Together with a steady FTE enrolment of 286 at Menno Simons College (CMU's downtown campus), total registration for CMU academic programs 2018/19 sits at over 961 FTE.

Canadian Mennonite University's Centre for Resilience is now open for business.
The Centre for Resilience (CFR) is a co-working lab on the fourth floor of CMU's historic building at 500 Shaftesbury Blvd. that will incubate and nurture social enterprises. Faculty, students and staff celebrated the grand opening of the $1.7 million centre on April 13.

Starting in Fall 2018, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) will offer four new Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree options as part of its academic programming—General (three-year), Mathematics (three-year), Biology (four-year), and Mathematics (four-year).
The BA Mathematics degrees will remain, with no change, serving students looking for more flexible elective space. The addition of a BSc to CMU's offerings is not only a response to growing demand, but is a natural fit, given the university's mission.
