For Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) alumnus Arisnel Mesidor (CMU '15), changing people's lives isn't an abstract hope or dream; it's the reality of his daily work.
As the owner and manager of Mesidor Canadian Immigration Services, he helps non-Canadians make the life-altering transition to becoming Canadian citizens. Daily, he meets with clients and mentors them as they navigate the complex world of the Canadian immigration system.

What makes graduate studies programs unique at CMU? Valerie Smith, Associate Registrar for Graduate Studies, says that "being rooted in the Anabaptist tradition, we specialize in peacebuilding and reconciliation-oriented programs, even in the ways we teach business. When MA Theology student Grace Kang was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, she found herself forced to re-evaluate almost everything. So she went to grad school.
Haeon Grace Kang—Grace, in Anglophone circles—came to CMU searching for God: "I thought that studying God might help me to find a more intimate relationship with God. So far, I'd say that has worked out," she says.
Master of Divinity degree at CMU: Fall 2019

Beginning in September 2019, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) will offer the Master of Divinity (MDiv), a new program of its Graduate School of Theology and Ministry (GSTM).
The MDiv is considered a gold standard by many denominations. The three-year program provides an extensive and thorough preparation for Christian ministry, including strong emphasis on discerning vocational calling and a field-based independent study tailored to each student's specific context. The program is suited for those considering Christian ministry or currently working in the field and wanting to grow in their knowledge and skills for faithful ministry.
