SAWAA Iftar - "Togetherness"
Hosted by Kahanee and Sadaa-Echoes, this annual Iftar has grown from a shared meal into a meaningful space for connection, reflection, and peacebuilding. During Ramadan, fasting is a practice of gratitude and renewal. At sunset, Iftar becomes a moment to break fast, break barriers, and honour the stories and traditions that shape us. Join us for a potluck Iftar. Bring a dish, an open heart, and a story to share. Let’s gather as neighbours, friends, and community.

Living Resistance | Nonviolent Resistance Training
CMU faculty member Karen Ridd will lead this hands-on, non-lecture-based event where participants will learn to respond thoughtfully in moments of tension and risk through actively practicing nonviolent resistance techniques, while exploring the strategy and history behind them.
