"Singing bold resistance to injustice, hate, and force."
– Becca Lachman

Singing Resistance is a community gathering where people come together to sing songs of courage, protest, lament, and hope.

Throughout history, communities facing injustice or uncertainty have turned to song to sustain one another and to express solidarity. From spirituals sung during the struggle against slavery to freedom songs of the civil rights movement, music has long accompanied movements for justice and peace.

Singing Resistance gatherings are not performances. They are a participatory community chorus, where everyone is welcome to lend their voice. No musical experience or skill is necessary.

When the world feels unstable, singing together reminds us that we are not alone. It helps transform anxiety into solidarity and strengthens the bonds that sustain communities in difficult times.

No registration required.
