Cultivating health and wellbeing
What comes to mind when thinking about 'wellness' and 'mental health'? For many, taking care of mental health may mean booking a session with a therapist. For others, practising wellness might mean beginning a new diet or exercise routine. While, generally, these practices embody the most basic expressions of wellness, wellbeing is impacted by every facet of life. As CMU's Spiritual Life Facilitator Danielle Morton puts it, "wellness can feel like a nebulous category. What counts and does not count as wellness can look different for everyone."

Notice of confirmed case of COVID-19 at CMU Shaftesbury Campus on November 2 (low risk)
Dear students, faculty, and staff of CMU,
A confirmed case of COVID-19 has been identified at the CMU Shaftesbury Campus. The individual was on campus on November 2 between the hours of 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM, and followed all public health measures instituted by CMU. This is a low-risk situation with no close contacts identified at CMU. No one is required to self-isolate from this exposure.

MSC Alumni Profile: Jordan Ewart (BA IDS, 2018)
For Jordan Ewart, policy analyst at the Saskatchewan Trucking Agency, the trucking industry in Canada continues to experience a significant shortage in female employees. With 97% of truckers identifying as male and only 3% as female, Ewart—who graduated with a BA in International Development Studies and is completing an additional major in Conflict Resolution Studies at Menno Simons College (MSC)—is recognizing more and more the need for female employment in a male-dominated industry.
