With Gratitude is a CMU graduation weekend event at which class members share their experiences through spoken word or musical performance. The event brings together family members, graduates, students, faculty, and staff, and affords graduates a valuable opportunity to showcase what their studies have meant to them.

After two years of outdoor ceremonies and air hugs, the Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) community observed this year's graduation in a more familiar way. On April 30, students, staff, faculty, family, and friends gathered at Bethel Mennonite Church to celebrate the Class of 2022.
An excited atmosphere and many masked, smiling faces marked the occasion, as CMU was finally able to once again host an indoor convocation ceremony, also livestreamed online, and reception. With a total of 108 graduates, the Class of 2022 is CMU's biggest graduating class ever.

Theme: "Who do I say that I am?" Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John
This month on Sunday@CMU, we are hearing from Marnie Klassen. She is a CMU alumna who graduated in 2021 with an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Theology. Throughout this series of meditations, Marnie explores what we can learn about Jesus from his many I AM statements in the Gospel of John.
