With Gratitude is a CMU graduation weekend event at which class members share their experiences through spoken word or musical performance. The event brings together family members, graduates, students, faculty, and staff, and affords graduates a valuable opportunity to showcase what their studies have meant to them.

After two years of outdoor ceremonies and air hugs, the Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) community observed this year's graduation in a more familiar way. On April 30, students, staff, faculty, family, and friends gathered at Bethel Mennonite Church to celebrate the Class of 2022.

This month on Sunday@CMU, we are celebrating the accomplishments of CMU's class of 2021 by featuring interviews with three students graduating this year. I recently sat down with them to ask about their journeys at CMU, what it was like finishing their degrees in a pandemic, and what's next. But first, we are broadcasting an Easter meditation by Sheila Klassen-Wiebe, Associate Professor of New Testament at CMU.
CMU celebrates Class of 2020

Canadian Mennonite University celebrated the achievements of its Class of 2020 at an outdoor convocation ceremony on August 26. Ninety-one students completed their degrees in April, receiving their diplomas in the mail, and 58 of them gathered on CMU's grounds to mark the occasion.

Graduates receive award for scholarship, leadership, and service from CMU president

Erin Froese and Mackenzie Nicolle are the 2019 recipients of Canadian Mennonite University's (CMU) President's Medal Awards.
CMU President Dr. Cheryl Pauls presented the awards during CMU's 2019 Graduation Exercises on April 27. Froese and Nicolle received the awards in recognition of their qualities of scholarship, leadership, and service.
